All about Diwali- The Story and Pujan Samagri

There are so many different stories in Diwali.

1. On the day of Diwali Satyabhama (avatar of Bhumi mata)The wife of Krishna attacked Narakasura and Krishna killed him with his Sudarshana Chakra and freed the people of his kingdom And it is to celebrate this victory of good over evil, that we celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights.

Traditional oil bath: After returning from the battle covered in blood and grime, Krishna and Satyabhama needed to be cleaned with sandal paste and scented oils. This is why people take an oil bath on Diwali.

2. In Ramayana, Lord Rama, his wife Sita and brother Lakshman were exiled from Ayodhya for 14 years. on this time of period King of Lanka Ravana abducted Sita.
